Checklist for hiring an AC technician in Ghana
Weak cooling can come from airflow, dirt, drainage, controls, electrical faults, refrigerant loss, or equipment sizing. A good request gives the technician enough detail to prepare without guessing the diagnosis.

Include the brand, unit type, approximate capacity, room type, and any model number you can read safely. Say when the unit was last serviced and whether it has been repaired before.
Separate servicing from repair
Ask what routine servicing includes and whether diagnosis, refrigerant, replacement parts, electrical work, or drainage repairs cost extra. Refrigerant should not be presented as the automatic answer to every cooling complaint.
Test the result
Run the unit long enough to check cooling, airflow, noise, drainage, controls, and any error indicator. Confirm what was cleaned, adjusted, repaired, or replaced.
