How to choose a plumber in Ghana
A useful plumbing request explains the symptom, location, urgency, and any visible fittings before a provider quotes. The lowest initial number is not always the final cost when diagnosis, replacement parts, or hidden pipe damage are involved.

Say where the leak, blockage, low pressure, or damaged fitting appears. Mention when it started, whether it is getting worse, and whether the main water supply can be isolated.
Photos can help with visible taps, pipes, sinks, toilets, and fittings, but do not enter flooded or unsafe areas to take them.
Compare the same scope
Ask each plumber whether the response covers diagnosis, labour, transport, replacement parts, testing, and cleanup. A quote cannot be compared fairly when each provider is pricing a different scope.
Confirm completion
Before payment, confirm that repaired joints and fittings have been tested under normal water pressure. Record any agreed warranty on workmanship or supplied parts in writing.
